Winter Wishes: Bringing Joy for Over 30 Years
Winter Wishes is a heartwarming initiative that spans more than three decades, connecting children and teens from various city agencies with their holiday wishes. Organized by New York Cares, each wish is granted by a dedicated individual who purchases and directly sends the gifts to the agency. This beautiful tradition not only spreads joy but also illuminates the holiday season for children and teens across New York City. All participating agencies are esteemed community partners of New York Cares, ensuring a meaningful impact through registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, government agencies, or NYC public schools.
